A LITTLE BIT OF THE STORY

SO FAR

We are a family firm that was established under the guise of Imperial Rovers way back in 1991 in Blackpool, right behind the Imperial Hotel. However we soon outgrew the premises and eventually moved 8 miles to the village of Freckleton which is located mid way between Preston and Blackpool. Recently we have began a transformation of the premises and far from scrapping cars and selling the components, we now specialize in repairs and rebuilds of SD1' and 800 series Rovers, however we undertake a great many repairs on other models primarily the 200/400/75 series, though often we are as diverse as TVR's and such like.

We are rebuilding the workshop and hope to have these fully operational in 2006. At present we are operating from our older workshop, and these will continue to operate until the switchover. The website is being updated at regular intervals, particularly the database which Gayle my wife lists and enters all the information.

There will be current projects listed as we progress with them and these will remain on the site on completion. Please feel free to look over the current engine rebuild for a good friend of mine who owns a 220 coupe. I currently own an 827 Coupe, amongst other vehicles, and the Wife owns a 75 2.0 V6 Tourer. We also love our American cars. Click here for links to the page.

We have always been enthusiasts and support many of the Rover Clubs. Please link me to other Rover sites and email me to return the favour. We give out free information and advise on Rover vehicles, but please do not phone, I respond better to email on frc800@hotmail.com

Many thanks for visiting this site. I hope you visit again.
