This fine beauty
is a 1955 Hudson Hollywood Hornet. 1955 was the first year for American Motors
and a total of only 1770 coupes were built. In 1955 they used the Packard engine
for their V8 until they came out with their own 327 V8. It has the Packard which
is a 320 with Hydramatic. Parts are plentiful for this motor. It is an old
original survivor out of 20 years of storage. We purged and lined the gas tank,
rebuilt all the accessories and it fired right up. It does have some minor rust
areas but overall but not too bad. 1955 through 1957 were the last Hudsons all
the same car with trim differences. Most all were 4 doors, with the "Hollywood"
2 door hardtop by far the rarest. We are asking £7500----Thats so cheap for a 2
door hardtop,
totally original and unrestored, turquiose & white, runs and drives, a very rare
survivor. Everybody has a Chevy or Ford---you will be the only one at the cruise
in one of these!!!!
